Race 1:A class V race over 1000m  A classic class V affair over a short scurry,going by the recent form  Spear of Trium  may well end up as one of the fancied horses in this race thanks to being a demotee and also has the services of a good claimer,has some gate issues and with a level Jump is the threat to all  Talking about demotees, Rising Wave  comes to the mind as a contender in this race,has a sole run this season and has been subject to some gate jumps in the last ten days with a change in jockey,keep an eye  Does the four year olds still have an advantage over the older horses or is that a race-race scenario,my view is the latter  This race has horses such as  Star Benevolent  who has in the recent past run some forward races over middle distances is cutting down in trip,at these weights it may be a folly to completely ignore this horse  Of the others  Ocean Star  who is in the ripe age of 8 and  Glorious Crown...

RACE 1:FOR 3yo horses over 1400 mts  Admirality  will be the odds-on favourite in this race,I expect the odds to be too low and any betting interest should be on the second placed horse Phenomenal Memory,Shadow Fax,Master of trinity  are the three horses that may fight for that spot  Shadowfax  comes out of a good race,a million where it finished in the judges frame and as the pedigree suggests a longer trip is my choice of the three  My Choice:#5 Shadowfax Place RACE 2:For Maiden 3yo only over 1000 mts  ABIGAIL  who made his debut not so long ago ran a good third,although he hasn't been in the tracks since the last run it is very suggestive of a good effort over here  There are horses like  Calissa,Springloaded  who have made suggestive runs in their previous starts and as such can be termed as challengers  There is however two horses that need a closer look  Corabella  who although a debutant looks like a horse that...

Race 1:A class V race over 1400m For a horse like  Shivalik Eyes  who is coming into this race with a good form in higher class and decent runs and has a switch in jockey to  Trevor  who is leading the charts in both Mumbai and B'lore currently there is every right to call it a top contender here. The only concern being a filly carrying top weights  The horses that catch the eye are  Joey  (Who is taking on the same  trip with a positive change in jockey)  Love is Life  (Good last run in the upper class,with change in jockey and demotion should do well)  Mystic Lavenders  (Bottom weights and the jockey factor may come handy)  However I think the threat should come from  Western Lady  (who is on a pretty decent form all season and may well be rewarded) and  Royal Defence  (who incidentally was withdrawn after being accepted last time out,last spurt suggestive with a change in shoes and jockey)  The ...

The RACE 1:A CLASS IV RACE OVER 1200m (6yo+)  NOTE:NO WHIPS ALLOWED  SOMERSET ROSE who had won two outings in the lower class over the same trip has run two reasonably par races in class IV,now back with the winning jockey over the winning trip should be treated as a main contender in this race  Raaga and Thunder are the two horses that look like providing an improved performance here,the former is showing out in the tracks and the latter had run a very suggestive last run and has the jockey for this kind of a race  Icepick Willie inspite of not having their stables first jockey onboard appeals as a decent contender in this race,has placed twice this season and as such cannot be ruled out  Then there is ShootOut who with the same jockey ran a forward race over the seven furlong trip,now with step down in trip and retaining the same jockey should hope to do well,a fair chance in the opener of the day  My Choice:#5 ShootOut Win RACE 2:For 3 yo maidens over 11...
