                        Woman O War the one eyed wonder filly who takes a step up in distance after the Fillies triumph in her last start where she overcame a lot of odds to win will be well supported in todays feature. True that she is facing her toughest challenge so far and being a freak that she is cannot be ruled out easily

Derbies throw surprises more often and it is my understanding that it is because of the distance factor and also that the youngsters maturation play a part

On known form and pedigree Desert God and Cameron,both from Bangalore and both having excellent Dam line which is a given that they would stay will be the strong contenders here

Cameron sporting the famous Vijay Mallya silks was undefeated before pitched in graded company for the first time and even there she wasnt entirely outclassed she has the jockey factor and also the step up in distance going for her

Desert God is coming out of the Bangalore Summer derby race followed by a colts championship triumph and as such is the horse to look out for in the derby as he has already gone over the trip and did not do bad too.

Dazzling Bay and Royal Seal are the other horses in the mix that can spring a surprise or two however on what is known they are at best long shots

Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run?
