RACE 1:The three 3yo's in Amethyst,Shivalik Bird and Accelerator should throw a winner here,of the three the horse in form is Accelerator and as such will get due attention due to the fact,however Amethyst has also been quite good in its last three runs and as such will run a good one here in my opinion

My Choice:#1 Amethyst Win 

 RACE 2:Creative,the sole horse with a run benefit in a million will certainly be the one to look out for here,however Magical Skill,Avienda and Golden Adara who are seemingly prepared may try to pose a song challenge,this is a shooting in the dark kind of race and may the best horse win

My Choice:NONE

 RACE 3:Silvassa and Sol Invictus,the latter being the subject of my tips earlier in the monsoon have three horses to beat in Bellatrix,Bharat Princess and Bon Ton. Bharat Princess merits strong attention being a winner in Maiden class and also being a progeny of Kingda Ka who normally revel over a mile,Bellatrix did well to beat a field which was more superior than what Bon Ton faced and such Bellatrix who won in the same class over the same trip against a slightly better opposition gets my nod

My Choice:#2 Bellatrix Win 

 RACE 4:Carlton,Decathlon and Vijay Vinatha are the three horses which will get one's attention in this race the last named horse is on such form that it will take the handicapper to beat it here,lets see if he has caught up with it.There is another customer in this race in Lopamudra who ran last time out in a class I race on derby day and is seemingly sitting pretty at the lower end of the scales and is worth an each way fling,my personal fancy

My Choice:#8 Lopamudra Win/Place

 RACE 5:Time to Climb,Valee Secrete and O Ms Akilah are the three horses that would in most probability throw a winner here,the former has already performed in this class and as such comes under strong contention here then there is O Ms Akilah which was campaigned at mysore in a classic and Valee Secret who before winning in the lower class was campaigned at the most competitive Bangalore Summer season,I feel the last named horse who found the winner too good last time out should make this a winning one in what looks like a close affair.

My Choice:#3 Valee Secret Win 

 RACE 6:Woman O War after winning the class upto 75 earlier in monsoon was campaigned in the classics and lost its only race of its career and as such is one of the strong pointers in the opening day for the classics here after,Golden Essence has been a fairly good performer over this distance and will be the one to look out for as a place bet in this race

My Choice:#4 Golden Essence Place

 RACE 7:Three year old demotees are the majority in this race,however there is no visible form for anyone here and there is Cruiser who was with the pace in its last start should be able to tackle this field in my view,Team Motto being the dark un in the fray.

My Choice:NONE

Good Bet(s):1-1 Amethyst
                      3-2 Bellatrix
                      5-3 Valee Secret

Hello Friends,                          By the time this post gets completed it would be just an hour or two before racetime,anyways hope it helps those who could read it RACE 1: Multigory: won maiden race in his second start and has won class class 4,class 3 and class 53-79 races subsequently,the last two start winner has hit sublime form and is the one to watch out for Jeanine: A first start winner over 5f to clear maidens has subsequently won class 3 and class 2,pune has been a better hunting ground. Pugnacious: Has age on his side and so are the weights tilted in his favour,on class is a maiden winner,class 4 winner and class 3 winner,hence is the one to beat During the fag end of the season horses who are in form can hope to do much better and with that logic I feel Multiglory should have a big say in the opener Race 3: Forest Fire: A maiden,having second start in class V over extended trip with a + switch in jockey,keep an eye,fair record in class IV Sheer Belie

Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? But it is prepared extensively ignore at will That brings me back to two horses which have relatively good form in Will still and Star of desire ,both have reasonable form and the latter a demotee with a switch in jockey has come down a lot in ratings  My choice:#1 Star of Desire for Win  Race no 2:A race for Class V horses over 1200 mts Upper division of the previous race,the field is comprised of many youngsters,here too form is not seen in plenty  Rubi Rey ,which ran in the upper class finished fourth to My Faviurite voice, now drops down in grade with a chance in
