Bangalore 31/05/14 (Analysis and Selections)

Hello Friends,
Here comes Saturday and with it brings the Bangalore Summer Meeting's third day of racing,A card of 8 races has been framed for the day with The Speakers Cup as the feature of the card. Here is my bit of analysis and personal fancies

Race no 1:For 3 yo Maidens only over 1200 mts

Going by their form both Rustic Sunrise and Rapid Advance stand apart from the rest, the latter now gets a negative equipment and not active in the tracks whereas the former retains the same jockey and is tracking well too. Thus Rustic Sunrise is the horse to be beaten in this race

Also there is Shubh Rahi which is tracking well and seems to be prepared well, have to wait and see if it reproduces its track form

Also there is Pride N Glory which is not too active in tracks but cannot be totally neglected

Rustic Sunrise has the form and condition but in my opinion if at all there is a danger it should come from Allez Royale who has had a solitary run and is now spurting well in the tracks, moreover she is bound for her second lifetime improvement in this run, thus is my choice for this race

MY CHOICE:#8 Allez Royale Win

RACE NO 2:A class V race over 1400 mts

Great Secret who now gets back T.S.Jodha in the saddle has some reasonable form to go by and is one of the main contenders in this race and so is Attitude Xtreme who now is running over the same trip as his previous two reasonably decent runs with a change in pilot and Master. These two horses are sure to have a big say in the race but what acts as a deterant is that both of them have not been active in the tracks

However FREEWILL is showing out in the tracks and don't be surprised if he runs a game race

However Kimora who is also decent in the track spurts, has an average formline to go by and by seeing the opposition on offer might get good value on an e/w fling and thus is my choice for this race

My Choice:#9 Kimora for win/place

RACE NO 3:A race for class III horses over 1200 mts

There are three youngsters (read as 3 yo's) in this race and in most probability the winner should come from this trio.

Top Spot won his last outing well, have to improve further if he has any say in this race, flukers fancy

On formlines,Red Red Rose is the best horse in the field as he ran behind too good Nuray on debut and then went on to win his next two assignments in a very easy manner. He is the default contender here

However the horse from Hyderabad in Vijay Viraaj is showing out on the tracks, gets a top jockey who is also the stables mainstay and has reasonable form to go by,the only concern if any is the step down in trip and is my personal choice for the rae.

Jolie who is now sitting pretty at the bottom of the scales is known for front running style, now with bottom weights can hope to place at good odds

With Red Red Rose,Vijay Viraaj and Jolie there are many horses which can alter the pace equation of this race, however I feel Vijay Viraaj has that extra class factor to score a win here

My Choice:#5 Vijay Viraaj for win

RACE NO 4:A Race for horses in class IV over 1600 mts

This race also happens to be the first leg of the jackpot pool, also a tricky race as many 4 yo's are in the fray with a winning chance! Stimulate from the yards of Arjun Manglorkar has had a solitary run last winter season, and is now being prepared extremely well to land the spoils here,John is the jockey aboard this horse

Priceless Ace is running after a gap of almost 6 months after its third to the too-good Adam at Mumbai, now with a jockey change to KPG Appu should be the outsider in this set, bloodlines are good and is coming out of a million race are its positives, the gap of almost 6 months from active racing is a deterant

Then there is Amazonas and Appy's Pride who can prove to be a thorn in the flesh of the fancied horses, especially the latter with Imran Chisty aboard can run a decent race, for jp consideration

And then there is Arctic Attraction, whose career could have progressed well if you ask me,especially after running a close fourth to Sovereign Rule last Bangalore summer, the horse is still in class IV,now with change in stables and pretty impressive trackwork Artic Attraction may be the main challenger to Stimulate,in my very honest opinion both horses should fight this one out and my personal fancy is Artic Attraction as if one discounts his last run,he has run reasonably well during the Bangalore Winter and is working well coupled with a major positive switch in pilot.

MY CHOICE:#3 Artic Attraction Win

RACE NO 5:The Speaker's Cup (class II over 1400 mts)

A lone youngster in Carlton takes on a bunch of well experienced older horses in this feature of the day.

First,is Carlton the main contender in this race ?

1)He has won three races over 1000,1200,1400 mts respectively in his first three starts
2)Went down to Maisha over a 1200 mts trip Million during the invitation weekend
3)Is working well on the trial tracks
4)Has the services of a top flight jockey
5)Assuming that this horse is a possible classic contender

Yes,in my opinion he is the horse that is the prime contender for this race,he however has to be vary of two horses namely

Arrogant Approach who may need extra ground but has matched strides with classic company and warrants great attention also

Ambitious Reward who ran a creditable third to Agostini during the Bangalore Winter Derby, true that the horse now takes a quantum jump down in class and retains the same jockey in Suraj Narredu

Thus in my opinion its between the lone youngster in Carlton against the classic placed Ambitious Reward and as in recent times this race has favoured youngsters I will go with him, have to admit that it won't be a cakewalk and if odds are too low for comfort it will be sensible to watch this race

MY CHOICE:#12 Carlton for win

RACE NO 6:A RACE FOR HORSES IN CLASS III OVER 1200 mts

This class III race has Cornwallis again from hyd and sporting the silks of Dr.Vijay Mallya and is one of the serious contenders for this race

So is Loveofmylife now ridden by Yash Narredu who just won his first race last week

But Emperor Cruise who ran second in a graded million in last run,now has a switch in pilot to John and seems like a clincher in this race, more so because he is active in the tracks and the horses who have finished ahead of him in Nuray (fourth in the Nanoli Stud Juvenile Million) and Azurite (winner in a maiden over 1200 mts) thus having reasonable form to score here

MY CHOICE:#5 Emperor Cruise win

RACE NO 7:A race for maiden 3 yo's over 1100 mts

Four debutants in Airplay,Glittering and Supreme Fairy along with Sakchi should throw out a winner in this maiden

Of the four Supreme Fairy has tremendous bloodlines being out of a classic winning mare and a hot stallion in Multidimensional, although must admit as of now the stallion in this current crop hasn't shown the same promise as he was last year. Also the horse seems to be working well and has P.S.Chouhan on board and should run a bold race

AirDancer should do it if the former fails or should run close to the former if he wins

My Choice:#12 Supreme Fairy Win

RACE NO 8:A Class IV race over 1400 mts

Oblenna Princess from Mysore has been accepted to run in this race, formline shows that she has finished a close second behind Fink, also has the services of the top jockey in P.S.Chouhan and is the horse to be beaten in this race

However the presence of Big Ticket who has just cleared his maiden in his last run and Rulers Secret add to the competition

However Santa Ana,the filly who ran second to  Always Remembring last season is now seeing a switch in jockey to Y.S.Srinath and seems like the value bet of the day

My Choice:#6 Santa Ana for Win

Day's Best:Artic Attraction
Double:Allez Royale-Supreme Fairy

Have a nice day,gamble responsibly

JP COMBINATION FOR THE DAY

3/12/5,7/7,12/2,4,6 =120 Rs (add based on ur choices)
