Derby day 07/02/16

Hello Friends, 
                       It is the Kingfisher Ultra Indian derby day and here is my analysis for what seems like a long day with 9 races,let's hope the racing lives upto the hype that is created around it on the big day. 

Race 1:Uncle Scrooge basically gets the first nod here is what seems like a race that may suit him,the only question is will the reduction of trip to 8f from 12f aid or affect its chances,The Haresh Mehta horse in Oscillation has a change in equipment and jockey must be in the mix,Move In time and dancing splendor can make this race interesting too. 

Race 2:Maiden 3yo's,Highland breeze,Imitation Game,Tromborne and Imperial Heritage all have decent chances to prevail and is an open affair,if I were to pick one then I may go with the one who is bred in half to illidan,Imitation Game

Race 3:The Champ,Hidden Soul,Heart of the city,Phoenix Fire are the short listed horses for me,The Champ showed good heart when winning a fighting race against Pearl secret last time out,the latter a winner in a handicap million makes it even more sweeter,the obvious choice in the course of the day 

Race 4:Class V race with horses like Flashing Honour,Atalya,Charging empress and Arsenal in the mix of contenders in my view,may go any which way but a slight edge to the first names horse 

Race 5:Mine Forever,Rule down under are having better saddle support and pitched against Zander and Himalayan queen both of whom are well placed,going by the run against the sprint sensation Dancing Prances last time out,it is Zander who gets my first pick against the likes of Himalayan Queen,Providence is also there 

Race 6:Quite a big field for the derby trip class IV million,Personify is looking good with a conditioning run in the upper class,earlier got the better of excelonce over a mile and then lost to Solange which is not a disgrace,however this field is abundant with horses who have pull of weights in their favour,Verbier/Aeoleus Maximus/Sou'wester might throw a winner,the first named appeals to me 

Race 7:Good field with horses who have run behind Devoted eyes,Serinity all winners of million races seen in the fray,Lord Darlington with equipment changes against Shivalik Shine have to contend with the assault of the Sunderji horses in Ladislaus and Honey Dew,Ice Angel with a mock race win is also in the fray albeit making his debut here,open affair but Honey Dew may present some value at race time

Race 8:The big one with the Filly 'Myrtlewood' who had already her staying prowess in the Oaks is against the boys in Costa Del Sol/Desert God/Comombiana/Sea Lord/Phoenix Tower. The Myrtlewood says my heart and I will follow my heart here and wish that the best horse wins,the official tag of the derby day is #GY❤️R and hope the race is as thrilling as the tag suggests 

Race 9:Harvey is sitting very pretty in
this race and is a strong pointer to close
the day,Kevin Mannings mount may be the one that could create some
Issues here however the first named has his work cut out to close the day with a bang.

Hello Friends,                          By the time this post gets completed it would be just an hour or two before racetime,anyways hope it helps those who could read it RACE 1: Multigory: won maiden race in his second start and has won class class 4,class 3 and class 53-79 races subsequently,the last two start winner has hit sublime form and is the one to watch out for Jeanine: A first start winner over 5f to clear maidens has subsequently won class 3 and class 2,pune has been a better hunting ground. Pugnacious: Has age on his side and so are the weights tilted in his favour,on class is a maiden winner,class 4 winner and class 3 winner,hence is the one to beat During the fag end of the season horses who are in form can hope to do much better and with that logic I feel Multiglory should have a big say in the opener Race 3: Forest Fire: A maiden,having second start in class V over extended trip with a + switch in jockey,keep an eye,fair record in class IV Sheer Belie

Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? But it is prepared extensively ignore at will That brings me back to two horses which have relatively good form in Will still and Star of desire ,both have reasonable form and the latter a demotee with a switch in jockey has come down a lot in ratings  My choice:#1 Star of Desire for Win  Race no 2:A race for Class V horses over 1200 mts Upper division of the previous race,the field is comprised of many youngsters,here too form is not seen in plenty  Rubi Rey ,which ran in the upper class finished fourth to My Faviurite voice, now drops down in grade with a chance in
