King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes

Thanks to RWITC,RCTC and Kunigal Stud,Mohit Lalvani's company with its association with Neo sports channel is all set to bring the too races from UK to our homes via Neo Sports Network

This race will be shown on TV which is one amongst the British Championship Series and is a Gr.1 race over 2400 mts

This race run over 1m4f has attracted a field of 8 runners

The most notable absentee is St.Nicholas Abbey which suffered an injury during training and is believed to be career threatening one.

Out of the eight contenders the two French contenders in Very Nice Name and Cirrus Des Aigles the former is the is fav for this race.

Irish Derby winner Trading leather is also a contender here

German horse Novellist is also in the fray

Cirrus Des Aigles which has matched strides with wonder horse Frankel if I am not wrong looks tall here in this field, his last run wasn't up to the mark but like a champion he is this multi graded winner should romp home in style, with French Jockey Christoher Soumillon aboard, this Barbe trainee is my pick for this race.

The 3 yo Irish Derby Champion Trading Leather also looks good and may go close to the winner

What do u think friends?

Happy viewing btw

Regards

  1. Dear Sirocco

The News which you publish is good and useful for your readers and Racing Patrons but what I felt is, that, today is Race Day and your analysis is in another page and viewers of your blog will have difficult to check that page.

In layout structure make it 2 Pages such that today choice of yours will appear down.

Please take this comment, in sporting angle.

    Best Wishes.

  3. hi the same story as our friends at horse talk sticking with Muroi and cdk horse, in the banglore derby
novelist beat out of sight cirrus the favorite at the king geroge ,the prime race, and novelist getting fabulous odds 13/2,with trainer turned Johny Murtag winning in style,
johny says about the german horse, good engine,
this is the way every where, i do not know why ppl stick with the past, not the present, with top ratings 131, i understand this, but if i had the opportunity to punt my money would have been on novelist
    good to see the race,
so u r not from bangalore, but where are u from, hyd, or mumbai,
    good

  4. It was a phenomenal performance by Novellist, not like that sir,my take is different, Cirrus Des Aigles was the only horse to extend Frankel when the latter was at his peak,a 7 yo old horse is now beaten by a 3 yo horse. That was a pefect ride from Johnny Murtagh too.

To ur query I reside currently at Chennai
