A card of seven races has been framed for this sunday,with THE BANGALORE SUMMER MILLION being the feature event

RACE NO 1:A RACE FOR CLASS IV HORSES OVER 1400 MTS

This race has a horse in ROYAL REIN which has finished second to Supreme Regime over the same distance in the same class,the winner eventually ran a great race in his next start,thus form line holds good.

Zagato which had its first run in the open class finished behing Gerome now runs here,the winner of that race ultimately ran in the derby,also the horse which finished second at that race in Strike the stars went on to win a handicap race during its next start

Divine Ruler and Style of signature ran behind the 3 yo runaway winner Triumphant the former gets a switch in jockey to B.Sreekant

You're Chulbulli which ran sixth to Wind Wonder gets a change in jockey to A.R.Pradeep

From whatever angle I see this race I cant see why Royal Rein can be neglected,by any means this is the horse to beat,has good track preps by the same stable app jockey A.Ramu who is also riding this horse.

Race no 2:A class IV (4yo+) race over 1200 mts

Boudicca which had a good winter season,although winless was hitting the board quite frequently has one run in this season where it finished fourth,change of jockey from Shahnawaz to Imran Chisty

Isle of fire which ran a good second to Brigades Supreme and before that second to Wind Wonder is a one with good form,has a change in jockey from Noornabi to Trevor Patel

Bold nature which has run some decent races behind very good horses ran a flopper of a race last time,when you discount that run this horse comes into the reckoning. Its third to Queen of the stars is a notable run.

Starstruck which ran third behind Strike the stars in the same class during the derby weekend,now gets a switch in jockey to Irvan Singh who incidentally partnered this horse when it won over a similiar race  

Thus this race on paper looks between these four,I personally fancy  Boudicca as it has a run benifit this season and looking at its form of winter and coupled by a positive jockey switch,also note shoe change to Aluminium.

MY CHOICE:#3 Boudicca for Win

Race no 3:A race for maiden 3 yo horses over 1400 mts

Ademaro which ran third toRumour has it(which eventually won a class IV race on its next start)
gets a change in jockey from C.Alford to Imran Chisty

Arabian Warrior which ran after a lay off after its debut during winter ran a forward race and finished third to Absolute Red over the same trip as the race to be held tomorrow,gets a switch in jockey from Trevor Patel to S.Zervan

Mickey Mouse which ran a surprise third on debut to Super Start came from behind with full of running over the same trip during that run,good on tracks too,runs with the same jockey B.Sreekant

Seven of hearts which ran second on debut to Rumour Has It where it also came from behind to finish a good second is a top contender here,same jockey who rode last time in Trevor Patel will be riding this horse again

Sur la tete which is bred very well hast lived upto expectatios,is trackig well now flukers fancy

Thus in my opinion this race is quite tricky as both the horses running in Dr.Vijay Mallya's colours and Mickey Mouse look like snatching victory here from the other,but in my opinion I feel that Seven of hearts which ran a good second on debut can fight out the issue here from its ownermate and others.

My Choice:#7 Seven of hearts for Win     

Race no 4:The Bangalore Summer Million over 1600 mts

This race will now have a reduced field of 6 runners after the initial declaration of 8. Of the six runners both the Goldie brown horses previous winners

Supreme Regime which happens to be the only MultiDimensional sired horse in this horse,won back to back races first a class IV race and then repeated it again over a terms race for 3 yo horses on a sloppy ground

STRIKE THE STARS after running a fast finishing second to Gerome in the open class won on its next start with a similar class over a shorter trip 

The former will have the services of stable jockey B.Sreekant and the latter will have the services of freelancer Fr.Da.Silva

Argiano which won its very first race this season beating hopeless opponents (no other horse it beat in that race have won again according to my memory) will take on this field after running 8th to Alaindair the 3 yo champion colt in the Colts Stakes Gr.1,now runs with a switch in jockey to Suraj Narredu

Also Arrogant Approach which incidentally ran second to its stablemate on its first run this season,went on to win its subsequent start and runs here with S.Zervan to guide its fortunes 

Alcazaba the favourite according to night odds had a 2/2 record before going down to class II adversaries over 1400 mts,the running style suggested that this horse needs more distance,guess it is running in its apt distance now,will be partnered by Trevor Patel 

My Lakshmi that ran fourth in its last run after shocking the field when shedding its maiden status has a good form line too thanks to Mantra winning its next start,in its last run in sloppy conditions had too much to do in the straight and the jockey lodged some objections on the horse which finished second.With a relatively faster ground and step up in distance and a switch in jockey with relatively better weights according to the terms of the race may upset

This is a very closely matched race,Supreme Regime is my prime contender here it had the form to win her,Alcazaba may run close.

My Choice:#2 Supreme Regime for win

Race No 5:A race for class II horses over 1800 mts

Art of Enchantment after its not so succesful classic campaign returns to a competitive race after 6 months,its last run was at the Indian Oaks Gr.1,the form of the horses competed at that event be it Razeena,Maple star,Capital Attraction or Song Dynasty there is nothing to boast off after that run,although seems too good on paper I doubt its abilities here,also the fact that it runs after a long lay off my doubts are even more stronger,Thus I am going to watch this animal and see how it performs here 

Sussex downs which after a victory has run third to Spaniard and Sandstorm which is on promotion look like possible contenders here. 

The bottom weighted Sandstorm appeals as it is placed better on scales here.

My choice:#7 Sandstorm for win 

Race No 6:A class IV Race(4yo+) over 1200 mts

Loyal King which is dropping its ratings gets a jockey switch to John,last two runs ran nowhere

Money Ball also dropping ratings,third run after demoting from upper class,also gets a switch in jockey to Suraj Narredu

Abbas Dreams ran 10 lts behind Smithsonite in its previous two runs,jockey chance to RajeshBabu

The Scientist which won a class V race with the same jockey astride looks like a top contender here,the horses which finished behind this horse The Jaguar and The volt gave good account of themselves in the next outing,this form may hold good

Shoot out which ran second to Allianz is now getting a switch in jockey to a claimer in Irvan Singh,last two runs are suggestive,knocking on the door 

Steel King which won its first start of this season is now out with a claimer,has been penalised 12 points for that effort

Haute Cole which finished third behind Smithsonite also ran behind Bank On me during its first start this season,same jockey astride 

The scientist and Steel King look like the top contenders here as they have the form to upset not to forget Abba's Dreams and Haute Cole who have placed in their last outings,but my guess is that the two horses on the top of the card which have been brought down in ratings now get a massive switch in jockeys,taking into consideration the trackwork too,Money Ball looks to be the one to beat

My Choice:#2 Money Ball for Win 

Race no 7:A class V race over 1400 mts 

Independence Day,Potomac,Wind Tunnel,Mystic Lavenders,Claara and afternoon delight all have the recent form to be listed as possible contenders here. 

Claara which runs after March has been a consistent horse during winter,no tracks visible 

Potomac and Mystic Lavenders also have the form with the former ridden by Imran Khan looks good 

My Choice:#3 Potomac for win
